About License;

Please note It's very important that you have the correct driving documentation for driving in Japan when arriving to our shop, without it you cannot drive and we cannot refund you.

 

1.    You MUST have ORIGINAL HARDCOPIES of all three documents below;

  • Driving license from your country of origin (no temporary or paper licenses)

  • International driving permit issued under the Geneva Convention 1949 (MUST be issued within your own country and by an officially registered issuing authority)

  • Passport

2.    If your driving license is from SWITZERLAND, GERMANY, FRANCE, TAIWAN, BELGIUM, ESTONIA, or MONACO,

3.    US military

  • SOFA License or Combination of Active Military ID and State Side Driver's License

Important notice about International Driving Permits

※Please note that International Driving Permits MUST be issued by your country's approved issuer. Some common examples are;

  • Australia – AAA

  • USA – AAA or AATA

  • UK – AA or RAC

  • Canada – CAA

※International driving permits that are issued under the Vienna Convention 1968 are NOT accepted in Japan.

※If you cannot show a hard copy of your IDP on the day of the activity, you will be unable to participate without the possibility of reimbursement.

※Your international driving permit (IDP) should also be in booklet form. Not paper form.

※It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they have the correct/valid documents for driving in Japan, failure to do so will result in denial of participation without the possibility of a refund. If you are unsure, please contact us directly and we can help to check if you have valid documents.

Additional Information;

  • Please ensure that you arrive 30 minutes before the booking time to allow for check-in, safety briefing, and go-kart demonstration. We can wait a maximum of 10 minutes after the booking time if you are running late, but arriving after this grace period we cannot guarantee you will be able to join the tour.

  • Alcohol consumption before the tour is prohibited, so please be responsible. We reserve the right to exclude you from the tour if we suspect you may intoxicated without the possibility of reimbursement.

  • Please do not wear long skirts, high heel shoes or sandals.

  • Not wheelchair accessible

  • Infants cannot sit on laps

  • Infant seats unavailable

  • Not recommended for pregnant travelers
     

Our cancellation policy is below;

  1. Cancel up to 24 hours before the tour start time for a full refund.

  2. If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour start time the paid amount will not be refunded.

  3. No refunds if you forget to bring your driving license or International Driving Permit (or translation）

  4. If your tour is canceled due to bad weather, you will be eligible for a full refund or you have the opportunity to reschedule depending on availability.

  5. Due to the nature of operating mechanical parts, when we reach the maximum capacity of booking we may need to amend or adjust bookings depending on kart availability.
